The Two Series
Weichai WP10 (9.726L, up to ~380 hp) and WP12 (11.596L, up to ~460 hp) are the workhorses of Chinese heavy trucks, buses and construction machinery. Both use the same family architecture but few major components interchange.
Parts That Differ
Pistons, liners, crankshafts and cylinder heads are series-specific - always order by engine model and part number. Parts like filters, some gaskets, and certain pumps may interchange, but confirm with the OEM number first.
